Currently trying to repair my game - cannot repair due to Access Denied Error

This is the message that has popped up when trying to repair all of my packs. The part scribbled out it my full name - nothing major to helping me fix this. I do not have any anti-virus insta...

    On your Mac go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access and add EA App and The Sims 4 game. You shouldn't need to do this but it should be a quick fix for your issue.

I have the same problem, expect I get the same message when I try to download a newly bought expansion pack.  Full Disk Access for EA App and The Sims 4 didn't help unfortunately. Any other suggestions?
