It definitely used to be supported. I downloaded Dead Space several months ago using EA Desktop and it installed and ran just fine. But yesterday I tried to redownload it and now I'm also getting the "The final stages of installation didn’t go as planned" error message. The game downloads all the way to 100% and then fails to finalize the install.

Thanks for posting this important data point, that it used to work before and does not now. I hope this gets fixed soon. Dead Space is a fantastic game.

I actually installed it yesterday, and it started up and ran fine until I ran into an invisible wall glitch shortly into the first chapter. I uninstalled this morning to try to fix the glitch, deleted the old files, and now I'm getting this same error when trying to redownload. No matter where I try to install or anything.

That’s really strange how the download worked for you yesterday but not today.
Anyone from EA can comment on ETA for a fix?

Hey @catpurrcat Sharing this with the team, as mentioned earlier this might be an issue with the Beta version of the app. However, if a game is visible on the client ( can see it in the store or your collection) the intent is to be able to download it.
I would keep an eye for any updates or changes listed on the team's Trello board if the information is shared on this. I also did see callouts about deleting installed folders and trying again that seem to have worked for others in this thread.
