DLC not working after external hard drive move

My DLC is not working after I moved my sims 4 into an external hard drive. How do I get it to work? For reference, I am using a MacBook and my external drive has 2TB. The base game runs smoothly, but my packs are not loading and says that I need to download them but when I check EA app, it says it's installed.

    @Pavelina53  Do you have a "The Sims 4 Packs" folder somewhere on your internal drive, for example in Applications or Users > your username > Applications?  Please check, and delete it if you find it.  Then redownload your packs, which should install onto your external drive this time.
