Dragon Age 2 is not in my EA App Library and says I have to repurchase it

So, I downloaded the EA App which is supposed to replace the Origin App and worked as normal. What did not work as normal is that I have two out of the three games I own on my account.

The missing game is Dragon Age 2 and all of its DLC.

So I went and made a case file, which led me to a chat that took over four hours and transfers to four different people only for them to tell me that I can play it on Origin, but not the EA App because it is not there, however, upon looking at the game list on the EA App I found Dragon Age 2, however, it is telling me to buy the game and all of its DLC again.

They told me it was a bug and to make a forum post and that a community manager would assist me via email.

So, what is my solution?

    Please try to set the language of EA App to English > restart the app > look if the game shows up.

  • I think that perhaps, the Origin app switching to the EA app caused the error stated in this post. After a few restarts and a few weeks after the change between Origin and EA, the problem seemed to resolve itself and the missing game eventually returned. Thank you for the advice.
