EA app - DA Inquisition

Thanks for reporting this. I'd also like to suggest a couple of steps that could help fix this issue. 

First, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app. Launch both Steam, the game and the EA app as admin. 

If that won't work, check also if the game will work if you uncheck the admin box. 

1. Right-click on DAI in Steam and select "Properties"
2. In the game properties window, navigate to the "Local Files" tab, then select "Browse"
3. In the DAI install directory, right-click on "DragonAgeInquisition.exe" and select "properties"
4. In the exe properties window, select the "Compatibility" tab, then uncheck the box for "Run this program as an administrator". DAI should now be launchable from Steam with this version of EA app.

@EA_Pulsar   how do i uninstall and re install the app? Becos if i uninstall where to find again?

I wil give the other solution a try, hope it works. In morning had been fine ☹️

@EA_Pulsar  I just tried the steps for going into the properties of .exe, in my settings the administrator box is already unchecked. What

what other solutions can I try? As many players have complaint, there shouldn't be need to use the EA app ☹️ 

2. So i go to the link you show- the EA app as an administrator. < yes I run as admin already. 

Then add EADesktop.exe, EALauncher.exe, and EABackgroundService.exe to your anti-virus and firewall allow lists < I have no idea how to do this... i don't think my antivirus is issue coz I'm already halfway thru the game and only now is there a problem. 

3. i've tried to sign out then in again.

Hi @EA_Pulsar today when i want to launch game, this error comes up. ☹️ Nothing is wrong with my internet, it's normal. Just a few days ago I was doing the Abyss quest >: I didn't change anything in my account, yet it pops up there's EC 1000 error whats that? really annoyed

i did a search other players said- Its possible that the EA servers or platform servers are in maintenance try logging in later. 

Why can't u leave the servers alone?? Stop messing with them

If you are still having trouble with the connection on the EA app please go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop and double-click on EAUpdater.exe.
