EA App - Failed to launch game (error on our end)

Yesterday I wanted to play one of my old favorite games, C&C Generals. I knew it was not installed, so I prepared for a bit of download time before I could play. Oh how I was wrong...

To my surprise the Origin app had been replaced by the sparkling new "EA app". Not only a new app, but a requirement to play anything EA branded. And what about Origin? It will be uninstalled weather you like it or not.

So I thought to myself "OK, how bad can it be?"

The EA app was installed and Origin uninstalled by itself right after. I found my game in the library and started the download.

Some GB's and a long wait later, the EA app tells me that my game is ready to launch, finally! But no...

The first thing that hit me is a popup, asking for permission elevation:

THIS GAME REQUIRES PERMISSIONS
This game requires administrative privileges. Do you want to grant access and launch the game? (OK/Cancel)

So I click OK, reluctantly.

And then I'm hit with another popup, with the dreadful words:

FAILED TO LAUNCH GAME
An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later.

Error on you end, could you be anymore vague?

So what do I do next? The basics:

Restart the app
Restart the computer
Clear cache (app recovery)
Check Windows event logs

Nope, still the same dreadful popup at launch. So I hit Google up for some answers, and find a 58 pages long thread for the same damn problem, still not resolved...

But I still try everything that has been suggested:

Uninstall Game
Uninstall EA app
Remove RegKeys
Update GPU drivers
Re-install EA app
Re-install Game
Launch EA app as Admin
Launch Game EXE as Admin
Right click EA app EXE file -> Combability -> Run this program as Administrator
Right click Game EXE file -> Combability -> Run this program as Administrator
Add Game EXE to Windows firewall

Nothing works. So I think to myself that it might just be this one game having issues. Lets try something else. Red Alert 2 is still fun for a few hours...

So some GB's and a long wait later, the EA app tells me that my game is ready to launch...

You beat me to it, didn't you? Yeah...

So I do the only thing one can do... I spam the EA error reporter not choosing my words carefully, and wait until the next day. I mean the popup did say "Try again a little later".

So here I am, the next day and my games still will not launch.

Error report ID 7aecbec6-995e-4889-a6fb-c62bbf0cf3bc (where my words were not so blunt).

I miss having my games on a physical media. At least then the games started whenever I told them to.

Same Issue here:
SimCity (2013) Complete Edition

Already tried all the troubleshooting steps including:
Rebooting and Restarting app
Repairing Game files
Updating Drivers and Windows
Uninstalling and reinstalling game
Clearing EA App Cache
Uninstalling and reinstalling EA App
Clearing registry and reinstalling both
Nothing works. If I recall correctly, some of the older games required EA Origin in order to activate so clearly some of these older games have not been properly updated to support the new EA App without Origin running in the background.

failed to launch game ea . I install windows again but still have the problem.

lol i have the games on steam. FC25 and NFS Unbound don't work with the same error but NFS MW 2012 works fine. steam doesn't make you safe.

after update ea app(It could not be updated, I deleted it and installed it again)، Fc 25 gives an error when running, and I tried all the methods that were in the forums or I saw on YouTube, but it didn't work, and now it's the third day that it doesn't run.

I have been experiencing an issue when attempting to launch one of my games since November or December of last year. All other games accessed via the EA app launch just fine, only SimCity fails. The error messages occur as follows:
1. I login to my EA app, select SimCity, and click Play.
2. An error message pops up that reads, This game requires permissions This game requires administrative privileges. Do you want to grant access and launch the game? OK CLOSE
3. Selecting OK results in another error message pop-up that reads, Failed to launch game An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later. OK
I've done every single thing I can find to troubleshoot/resolve this issue, including every step listed on this page: https://help.ea.com/en/help/ea/ea-app/game-download-install-load-troubleshoot/
Everything is up-to-date, including the EA app, the game, and my operating system and graphics drivers.
I've also followed a fix recommended by the chat advisor, which was to uninstall the EA app and delete the associated registry keys.
Clean boot with all non-Microsoft services disabled doesn't resolve the issue.
Clearing the cache doesn't resolve the issue.
Uninstalling the game, the EA app, then reinstalling doesn't resolve the issue.
Disabling antivirus and firewall doesn't work.
Running the EA app or the SimCity executable as administrator doesn't resolve the issue, nor does running them in compatibility mode.
Controlled folder access configuration changes don't resolve the issue. Whitelisting the game for controlled folder access doesn't resolve the problem.
Repairing the game doesn't resolve the issue.
Customer support chat instructed me to do all of the above, then said post here after they were unable to provide a fix.
I've done all possible fixes listed above multiple times over the course of 1 - 2 months.
Nothing has worked, I keep getting the same error messages described above.
I also attempted to get a refund for SimCity since I am no longer able to access the game that I paid for, but that option is also unavailable to me.

I want to be optimistic, but I can't when it comes to the bungled piece of tech.
I have attempted to play Dragon Age Inquisition three times in the last three years, and after about 20 hours, I ALWAYS get this error.
Yes, I've Deleted and reinstalled your craptastic app.
Yes, I've deleted my Game, my save games, and all associated files and reinstalled (years in between and THE ONLY TIME IT FIXES THE ISSUE)
I've created a new Account on my PC With Admin access.
I've signaled the Immuniati, the Free Masons, the Gou'ald, the Federation, God, my Mom, Mr. Rogers and Zordon, and all six power rangers and continue to run into this error.
I bought this game on Steam...Let me play it on Steam. It should just be that simple. Losing 30 hours of progress in a 120+ hour game is not fun and it makes me hate you.
The worst part is this has been an issue since you launched this damn thing and you people haven't done a damn thing to fix it.
You Know what App you should take out back and kill in April? It certainly ain't Origin

When I try to open it on my pc it says. Failure to launch game. An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later. I been trying for a couple hours and still keeps saying this. I even repaired the game. But still don't work.

Problem Im having is with a * game running on Steam. I will never again give EA a red * cent. High seas for me from now on for all EA products.

Sorry guys. I even tried with the support team, but they were not at all helpful.
I ended up re-buying these games on Steam during a sale...
I'm so dissapointed in EA
