I've had this probably for like a week now - every time I try to open the EA App, it appears and asks me to log in. When I log in, a screen saying that:
"The App failed to launch. The app couldn't connect to EA's servers. Check your internet connection and try again. If the problem continues, reinstall the app" and then after this the app just disappears leaving a dot underneath the EA App logo on the dock. I've tried to delete and reinstall the app many times, and I've also contacted EA to see if they could help but they told me to wait ... ????
I'm confused because there have been instances where I have been able to open the EA app (only 2 times within this week), but then after quitting it the same problem reoccurs. So I really don't know what is wrong. My Mac is up to date, and there are no problems in terms of internet connections. I do use Kaspersky as an antivirus software and have deactivated it since, but I don't think it's a problem since I've always used it before while playing with the Sims.
I just hope that this problem gets fixed soon, because I have spent so much money on this game and I can't even access it.
Hi, it does the same thing for me! I can't even open the app, nothing appears, not even a window... What are the solutions? I don't want to lose my saves...
This is ridiculous! How does EA can accept such a thing?? I can't even play the games I spent thousands of dollars on. Everything was fine with Origin, quite buggy, but at least I could play. Why force us to use another app if it doesn't WORK!
- 2 years ago@juiceprince I can’t believe it. I’m so mad. Ugh.
- 2 years ago@juiceprince thisssssssss I've lost all my saves because I've been trying the solutions players have come up with, no actual answers from any EA staff for any of these issues with EA App. Hate they made it mandatory!! I even tried removing EA App and reinstalling Origin but it just made me download the new app couldn't get around the pop up that said download EA App.
