EA app Causes high cpu usage/low fps and stream crashes on obs

Hey

I'm having some bad issues with my stream crashing since switching to ea app. I wasn't having this issue with Origin at all. How can I fix this? My computer is a 6 core ryzen amd with ASUS Tuf gaming nvidia rtz 3060 ti oc edition graphics card - 48 gigs of memory - I don't feel like this should be happening.

My fps are VERY unstable - they go from 8fps to 80 then settle to 30 only to go back down to 14 or 12 - it's all over the place and making it super hard to play on stream. 

To be clear, it works fine when I'm just playing the Sims 4, but Ya know I'm a small streamer just getting started and I don't need this kind of performance.

So what can I do to make this stop? My obs disconnected 3x for this reason today alone and it's the first time I've streamed with ea app which was VERY VERY discouraging.

Has anyone else experienced this?
