EA App crash on launch

ea? fix your app?

I too am still having problems with the app, after three weeks of asking for help.

@virtualbalboa_ggNo, they haven't messaged me directly.

There is no other way of receiving any support from EA either.

Their email says:
"We no longer monitor this email address and we want to make sure you get the help you need.
Visit EA Help and log in with your EA account information.There you can browse help topics or click Contact Us at the bottom of any help article to ask a specific question. You can also participate in discussions with the player community on Answers HQ. "

Their website only offers me support via chat, but the chat window never opens. My tickets are immediately set to "resolved".

And as for Answers HQ, I think we don't need to talk about that.

@EA_Illium Are you not going to help people play their games? I'm also having the same issue and trying to find a solution but can I even count on you guys solving this issue? I've bought these games and it wasn't that long ago when I was last able to play and now all of a sudden my games won't launch. This is on your end!

Been having this problem for a while now. I've given up trying to play EA games. I came here to see if a fix has been found/being worked on. Doesn't look like it! So, just wanted to say, "me too".

I finally managed to update my EA app version after trying repairs and reinstalls from the downloaded installer with no change.

The EA Updater can be run directly from the start menu. You can click the windows icon on your toolbar and start typing EA app updater to find it.

Once I did that, my version updated from version 13.180.0.5693 to 13.188.0.5701.

The App then started and I could log in! Hope this helps.
