iam trying to clear EA App cache but it doesnt work.
The App crashed unexpectedly. We ran into a problem, but quick start should fix it

I have had this problem for a few months now. Can't seem to find a fix either.
ran into it today while trying to find out why one of my games i have owned for yrs was having issues with downloading one of its dlcs
Has anyone been able to resolve this yet? I have just downloaded the EA app and when I open it it’s just a black screen. Tried running the ea app recovery but I just get a message to say it’s crashed unexpectedly. I’ve tried uninstalling the ea app and installing it again. Nothing seems to be working!!

Did anyone fix this?? My app crashes any time I try to repair my game, or update anything.
I'm having the same issue, any time I try to launch the Sims 4 or the EA app it gives me the app crashed unexpectedly message. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app, clearing the cache an run as administrator to no avail. It's so frustrating, does anyone have a fix for this?
Tried to play BF tonight but I can't get the EA Desktop App to launch.

Uninstall / install
Run as Admin
Uninstall and install C++
Run as admin
No change.
Fixed. I used a Windows 11 Media Creation Tool.. To reinstall Windows via USB. (Keeps my old settings and installs that way). That fixed it.
I guess I had something wrong with my Windows image somewhere.
