I passed this post on to a colleague of mine and if all went well he has done some changes to your account, so the problem should be solved now.
Could you completely remove Origin, the EA app and BF2042 from your PC > restart your PC > download/install the EA app again > download/install BF2042 again and see if it works now?
hey @EA_Leeuw, I uninstalled EA app, clear the cache, remaining files and regedit with RevoUninstaller, restarted PC, installed the EA app and I cannot install BF2042... It still shows me the wrong edition on EA app ! Why on Origin is correct and on EA app is not? Origin have gold edition which is correct, EA app have ultimate edition which it's wrong and I can't even download it...
If you want, I can go video call with you with zoom, skype or discord to show this to your team to help me.
PS: I did a clean install of Windows 11 on my portable computer, installed EA app and I have the same situation... This is account related and not pc related.

Thanks for the update. It is unfortunate to read that it hasn't worked yet.
Could you perhaps reboot your modem/router, sign out/in of the EA app and check if it works now? You might need to perform an EA app recovery in between: https://help.ea.com/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/.- FernandoSerraPT3 years agoNew Traveler

I did the download and can play without any problem. It was related to EA account indeed.
