Summarize your bug When installing a game in the EA app, I cannot access the game key to register the game.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Install NFS: Undercover in the EA app.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game asks for a key, and the EA app has no way of providing it.
What do you expect to see? A way to see my game key.

Nothing else to post, please fix this so I can see my game keys as they should be registered to my account. Also fix the website so it's easier to see them on the EA account website.

@netracerx If you own the game through the EA App and not through another platform, there is no reason for it to ask for a key. Do you own the game through another launcher, or did you purchase the game through the EA App or Origin?

It was purchased through Origin, which is where I started purchasing all of my NFS titles after they went digital back in the mid-to-late aughts.

  • But even besides the point, it was registered with Origin at some point, which is why it's in my library, which means I HAD to have fed it the key even if it came from another retailer. Which at some point means Origin, and therefore EA, has a copy of that key to validate that digital download being in my library. Why isn't it found in the EA App, which replaced Origin, or on the EA account website (where I can't see ANY of the keys for my digital purchases)?

@netracerx Gotcha, okay, so for that one, what we need you to do is contact live support so that they can look at the account. If you owned it, it shouldn't ask you for a code.

You can contact our live support at help.ea.com. To request a chat or open a case through email:

    • Select your product
    • Then select Platform
    • Manage my Account
    • Chose the appropriate option from there
