EA app error: “We couldn’t find your account info” on Windows PC

Summarize your bug I've just downloaded the app a couple days ago and every time I try to open it(whether its reguraly or as an administrater) it keeps giving me a popup that says "We couldn't find your account info". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling,logging into my EA account from Google Chrome,and contacted EA Help on Twitter and still can't open it. I am unsure if this is a common thing or if i'm doing something wrong.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to open the App either normally or as an administrater.
What happens when the bug occurs? App won't open.
What do you expect to see? The App to work.

I am unsure if this is a common thing or if i'm doing something wrong. Edit: I was able to fix it by resetting my pc and redownloading the app but still a very annoying bug.

CM updated reply:

Using a VPN allowed me to log in to the EA app successfully. As soon as I gained access, I disabled the Sign in automatically option.

This worked as a temporary workaround for the EA app login problem:

Connect to a VPN.

Open the EA app.

Sign in to your EA account.

Go to the login or account settings.

Turn off Sign in automatically.

Close the EA app and test it again with the VPN disconnected.

This is not a permanent fix, but it helped me get past a very frustrating login bug. Thank you for the suggestion!

I used an older copy of the Origin app I still had in a file on my hard drive.

SOLUTION TO EA DESKTOP APP NOT OPENING: I was also receiving the: We could not find your account info message. After testing some things to get my EA app up and running, the last thing I tried was turning off my firewall. This seemed to solve the problem temporarily, so I recommend this method just to get the app to run. Once the app was opened, I turned my firewall back on, and it seems to be working perfectly fine. I was able to open and run some games as well. If I find any other solution, I will write another reply under your post. Hope this helps!

Hey!
My EA application doesn't even seem to send any error codes or messages. It just doesn't open when I log in. Tried to find solutions, but have only found some from 2021. Neither of them solved my problem. Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem as me.

I've been going back and forth with EA support using the help.ea.com ticket system. They keep responding with generic replies and it seems like they aren't even reading the ticket. I've gone back and forth with them like 10 times so far in the hope that someone will actually read the issue but no luck so far. Don't see myself ever buying another EA game at this rate...

@Janmisz Me too, that's what I'm getting as well. It opened successfully once yesterday but it won't open today.

How can such a big company be so careless about their users. They only care about the damn money and not the satisfaction of their users. They keep releasing * fifas every year for their money and now you cant even get to the games that you spent your money on. I think thats a shame and they should absolutely do a rapid change.

@megalizardon94 I have the same issue, I'm a brand new EA user on a brand new account so I don't even have Origin to use as an alternative and I literally cant open the app. How can it not find an account that I've never given to it?? Like i said its brand new it literally has no idea who I am so what is it struggling to find exactly? Actually making me lose my mind it's so poor
