EA App Error Code EC:104

I installed the EA app since orgin is phased out. I cannot get the EA app to load. I keep getting EC:104 then I say restart app and it just stays on the restarting app screen.  (cm edit - updating...

    For some reason mine was fixed when I realized my clock and date was wrong. Syncing it fixed it

I'm a MacBook user. The EC:104 error does not cause the app to go down. How can I fix the error? There was no solution to this problem for three weeks. I've also written about this issue, but no one has any feedback. Please solve it.
