I installed the EA app since orgin is phased out. I cannot get the EA app to load. I keep getting EC:104 then I say restart app and it just stays on the restarting app screen.

For some reason mine was fixed when I realized my clock and date was wrong. Syncing it fixed it

Nothing works, sick to death of this EA app, pure junk, shame on you EA games.
This is such a joke. I've been fighting with this for hours. I've tried repairing all the MS Redistributables, Reinstalling EA, Changing my DNS settings, even changing from an ethernet switch to a direct connection over ethernet. I haven't tried reinstalling Windows, and nor do I want to reinstall Windows.
Oh, and none of those methods to fix EA has worked. Still broken. I just want to play Sims 4 damn it.
Update: Had to reinstall Windows anyway due to several other problems with my computer, EA is now working again. I hope I do not run into this issue again, or I will be one very angry Wolf.
I have had the same issue for days and have tried every single suggestion posted.
I repaired all Windows Redistributables C++, uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app and the game that requires it. Did the uninstall and repair in the EA app. Added it to my exceptions list for my Anti-Virus and Firewall. Deleted temporary files, previous downloads, the Origin program and all of it's files. I've optimized my drive and everything in windows is completely up to date. I've sent crash reports and sent complaints to Steam where I bought the game in the first place and they sent me back to this.
I'm at the point now where if a game even has the EA logo anywhere near it I won't buy it.
What's the point if I'm randomly not even gonna be able to play it? Why waste the money?
