EA App Error Code EC:10501

Hi @EA_Shepard, I wonder why you still insist on “network problems” or any type of “User PC” issues. As I already mentioned a “offline mode” must not “ping home”, “gather user information” or be active in any way. So could you ask the developers to implement a “offline mode” and to resolve the hidden activities during the simulated “offline” mode as it is currently implemented.

Thank you and let us know if EA is willing to follow this way.

@NONONO1902 Offline mode type of features has already been a requested feature to the games team. A feature like this we can only request. We have no visibility into making that decision for the app itself.

 @EA_Shepard To be very honest, it look here that the problem have been clearly identified by someone and that the team working on the app not willing to fix the problem?

This thread is quite old, problem have been identified by @NONONO1902 months ago, and yet it is still here. I am very confused here as to why the answer is you can only request this feature when the situation is that the feature that is technically already there is making the app crash? I know you are a community manager and have no control on what EA does, I'm just genuenly confused by EA's process here. 

Offline mode is already a feature, otherwise we would not have this problem right now right?
The feature seem to be badly implemented in the app because it look like it's trying to reconnect itself if we look at the error message, even when the player chose by himself to play in offline mode. Solution should be in updating the app so it change its behavior. This should have been a pretty straightforward process no?

I mean, fixing it might be hard depending on how the programing of the app have been done, I'm not saying fixing stuff in itself is easy. I'm just thinking that they already know there might have been a problem with that section of the code, I would have expected that at this point we would get an answer in the style of: the team is looking into fixing what cause this error, or they have investigated this option and it seem it is not the cause, or something like that.

Ea Shepard I have an update regarding ea app offline mode error code 10501 has been fix atleast for me since I updated ea app to latest version and I checked the ea app is not crashing after puting ea app in offline mode and after waiting for 4 hours it is not crashing since updating ea app to latest version .ea app version currently installed on my pc is 13.86.0.5599.Thank you for fixing this problem .
