Summarize your bug I have to type my password every time I start EA App
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? start the EA App type password and choose save password. Next time log in or next day you have to log in again
What happens when the bug occurs? It does not remember the password, I have to type my password every time I start EA App
What do you expect to see? It remember the saved login details, like every other game launcher!

It is ridiculous that in 2023 this game launcher still cannot save login information. This has forced me and others to stop buying games from EA and buy them on the steam app which remembers login information

I have the exact same problem. Everyday when I start my PC and open the launcher (which it does automatically) I need to fill in my credentials again. The remember checkbox is checked ( = turned on).
I'm really getting annoyed by it, especially when support either ignores us, closes these threads, give us useless replies or tell us they are looking into it! What?! Have they been looking at it for more than 2 years?! I would get fired when I'm not able to fix a bug in 2 years time!
How does EA wants us to use and enjoy the app/launcher when these simple, basic and small bugs don't get fixed?!
I am having the same problem. It consistently forgets not just the password but the e-mail as well! This is either really sad or intentional. The first reboot it started on startup and worked. I turned off start on boot and now it forgets every time. Seems like forced coercion to make people run it all the time.
Up side, if you kill EA through the task manager instead of the taskbar icon, you can open it back up and it auto logs in. Seems the taskbar icon is the problem here.
Community Manager@gaming_ogre It isn't intentional. It should save your login. There are no open issues on this and I myself have tested this multiple different ways to try to reproduce it and I am not able to which typically means it is more local to the PC it is being downloaded on. It can happen to multiple players without it being a bug with the app. This can be a list of things that cause this to happen.
Can you please do one or both of the following for me?
1. Uninstall the App - download the App from the site here and right-click the install file and run as admin.
2. Righ-click the EA App icon or exe file and go to properties - Compatibility - check the box to run as Admin
Then reboot the PC and try again and see if it saves the login info.
I did everything you said and this still isn't working.

I use the xbox pc app that seems to have a hook to start the EA app and logs in automatically. Maybe thats where some kind of token mismatch occurs. It worked until two or three weeks ago, but this is not the first time this problem occurs.
I've tried clearing the cache as user and as admin, logged in as user and admin, logged in with the checkbox dis- and enabled, everything with the same outcome.

I have changed nothing (no active windows updates etc.) and today, the auto login worked as intended (restarted the app another time to verify if the running xbox app interferes with the login process). I've created another report, maybe you can compare my last two reports and see a difference:

Edit: Could not start any games. Used windows disk cleanup and rebooted. Login credentials are gone again.

Summarize your bug I shut down my PC every evening at bedtime. Whenever I power back on my PC and boot into Windows 11, the EA app always requests my email and password to log back into the app despite the "keep me signed in" box being checked every single time.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Set the ON/OFF switch on the Windows 11 PC to the OFF position. Wait 30 seconds and set the ON/OFF switch on the Windows 11 PC to the ON position. Wait for the Windows 11 PC to boot into the Windows login screen. Log into Windows 11 and see if the EA app requests login credentials.
What happens when the bug occurs? The EA app requests my login credentials every day after powering my PC back on from the night before.
What do you expect to see? The EA app to function like the Steam, Epic, Blizzard, and Ubisoft apps and NOT request my login credentials every single time I power back on my PC each day.

"Keep me signed in" is checked. I cleared the app cache, removed and re-installed the app. Made it start with Windows - still on every launch it's asking for credentials, see the screenshot.
This is extremely annoying, there is another thread about the same issue which EA has not acknowledged yet, so hopefully this one will get the necessary attention.
1 week since opened and not yet acknowledged by EA

Hi everyone, I am having an issue where every now and again the EA app asks me to log in even though I know I pressed 'keep me signed in'. It doesn't happen very often, normally it logs back in fine.
Do I need to be concerned and should I do anything?

What do you expect to see? I expect to not have to log in every time I open the app every day, or even every week. Every 2 weeks is reasonable IF you don't log in for 2 weeks.

I guess you don't realize what you had until its gone. Give Origin back to us. The only time I had to log into Origin is if I skipped using it for 2 weeks, which was rare. How do I stop the EA app from forcing me to log in all the time?
Despite having "Keep me signed in", at least 95% of the time I restart the PC I have to log in again. When will this be fixed?
I agree why is this not working like every other game?
