EA app Fails to Remember "Keep me signed in" Option

Which client functionality are you experiencing this bug with? Launch Game
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 06.08.2023
Summarize your bug On every launch the app is asking for credentials.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start the app
What happens when the bug occurs? I have to enter my credentials
What do you expect to see? I expect to be loggin automatically since "Keep me signed in" is checked.

"Keep me signed in" is checked. I cleared the app cache, removed and re-installed the app. Made it start with Windows - still on every launch it's asking for credentials, see the screenshot.

This is extremely annoying, there is another thread about the same issue which EA has not acknowledged yet, so hopefully this one will get the necessary attention.
