Summarize your bug Every time I try to launch a game through desktop icon that was created by the EA app, the game does not launch. The game launches correctly when using the launch option within the EA app, but the desktop icons for the games do not work. There is no error, just a busy cursor appearing for a moment, then nothing.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Install a game through EA app then try to launch it through the desktop icon that appears after installation. In my case it happens with The Sims 2 and The Sims 4.
What happens when the bug occurs? Cursor shows that the OS is busy for a moment, but nothing happens.
What do you expect to see? The game launches correctly.
Every time I try to launch a game through desktop icon that was created by the EA app, the game does not launch. The game launches correctly when using the launch option within the EA app, but the desktop icons for the games do not work. There is no error, just a busy cursor appearing for a moment, then nothing. In the Task Manager EALaunchHelper.exe appears briefly then disappears. I have Windows 11.
