My brother and I have spent the last three days trying to get this software to install on his computer.
I've followed different discussions that refer to this same issue, tried all their solutions and nothing works.
Rebooting the PC installing and repairing ALL redistributables, net frameworks, turning off firewalls and Antivirus. Even tried using PowerShell to change the installation path. Tried installing the app using an old installation of origin, didn't work either. Tried copying it from my PC with the path registry keys to let it know that the program is installed, and that didn't work either, as the game still can't find that the software is installed.
We tried Safe mode, running Administrator permissions, even folder's security permissions. Tried using RevoUninstaller to eliminate anything that could be causing a confliction with origin and still didn't work.
Tried even installing it over a copied version and that didn't work either.
I'm completely out of options and all I wanted to do was play Star Wars with my brother, Never had any problems with Origin, can we get that back please.
If anyone knows another solution, I would really appreciate it.
