ea app is being really funky

1. i have to the run the app in admin every time for it to work

2. i have to re log in and get another verification code every time i launch the app despite saying remember this device

3. whenever i launch my new game i got from steam, ea fc 24, it says preparing but then crashes not even a second later

please help soon so i know whether to ask for a refund and/or to avoid ea entirely.

launching from steam gives me an infinite "preparing game" before blaming it on my internet, which doesn't make sense because i switched to a different internet and the same thing happened despite both being classified as "fast" by google.
