Having the same issue. Getting very annoying.
Trying to install BF1 and it keeps losing connection, despite my internet being fine.,
Hey all, it sounds like you may be having issues with your connection. I'd recommend taking a look at this help article: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/problems-playing-online/

- 3 years ago@EA_Darko As we've both said, neither of us have connection issues so a bit of a pointless response. I have a new PC and have downloaded games across battle net, steam, epic and ubisoft connect. The EA app is the only one that keeps stopping downloads and having an error.

Hey @sephis85 other games working fine does not mean it is not a connection issue.
Please try the steps shared above and if the issue continues speak with your ISP about improving your connection.

It is not a connection issue. I can download games on ANY platform without issues it's only this new, terrible, EA app I have issues with. It's the app not our connection.

They just don’t get it, it seems I had the same problems and tried what they said and it still didn’t work only redownload it origin and using it to update allowed me to update my game:/ the EA App is garbage

They're full of crap and in denial that the issue is with them. I ran a download on steam, where it shows a graph of your download speed, and in 10 minutes, it didn't drop once. Did the same with the EA app and it dropped to 0 M/b three timmes in 5 minutes then came up with the error.
Asked a friend to do the same and they had the same issue.

I have the same issue all the time too, did all the trouble shooting, it's the only app I have a problem with. Never had a problem with Origin. I don't expect them to ever admit it's their app. And can they make the dumb app any larger. When it finally opens it takes up approx. 2/3 of my 17" laptop screen. Bigger isn't always better. They keep playing with but, never fix it. I suspect I'll eventually quit playing sims 3 and never purchase another EA product again. But hey, it's us and our pc's....never their app.

I am having an issue downloading The Sims 3 from the EA app. Same issues as described previously. The download will work for a few seconds and then stop, restart, repeat, and eventually give a no internet connection message. I attempted to follow your advice, and the server was up, so no issue there apparently.
The connection Wi-Fi connection here seems to be fine, I have no issues with any other device or app connecting to my Wi-Fi. I have had this issue many times with the Origin app and now multiple times with the EA app. Typically, once I manage to get a game downloaded, it works fine as long as I do not have to download any additional content or updates. It is the download process that is giving me so much difficulty. I feel extremally frustrated, as this is day #3 attempting to download this one game and the dlc that I have purchased for this game. I would sincerely appreciate any help, new suggestions, etc.
