EA App not opening on Mac

I was able to play the Sims 4 for 4 minutes off of my hard drive and didn't realize it wasn't plugged in completely so the game crashed unexpectedly. Tried to completely reinstall the game, but the EA app isn't opening on my macbook at all. 

I've cleared the cache, updated my system, rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app and nothing is working. Please help
