EA App not working

EA App just hangs. Cannot even get to my account page never mind launch a game. Had a couple of Battlefield/Battlelog Web Helper error messages that made no difference whether I clicked Yes or No and now I see the EA App logo surrounded by an orange square sitting on my taskbar and that's it.

Tried clearing the cache, restarting the PC and repairing the EA App but nothing has worked.

Origin was not that great but at least it worked most of the time. This EA App has only been on my PC for a day and already it's broken.

  • Hi! I have the exact problem. Yesterday i moved from origin and everything worked fine and today i cant even launch new EA app. I click log in and nothing happens. Not even any error.

Everything just disappears as if i never clicked anything. I am complete opposite of tech savy, so i have no idea how to even think of fixing that. Please help

Hey @fantasyfury if you check your task manager do you see it running in the background?

  • @EA_Darko yes, it was, but fortunately i solved the problem. I just unchecked "keep signed in" and it worked. Not sure why, but it worked. I hope this info will help someone. Thanks for answering 🙂

Hi. No, no error as such. I keep getting a popup "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device" referring to Battlefield/Battlelog Web Helper. If i click Yes it just brings me back to the popup. If I click No then the popup disappears however I am unable to join any server. botton of Multiplayer screen just says "JOINING SERVER" and then changes after a couple of minutes to the "We're sorry, it looks like your game didn't start properly" popup. The four options listed are

Make sure all drivers are up to date - done

    Restart Origin -

Repair the game in Origin - tried the App Recovery but to no avail

Restart your computer - done - no difference.

I've also uninstalled the EA App and reinstalled Origin so as it could go through the upgrade process again - no difference

Also tried running the EA App in both normal and Run As Administrator options - no difference

Also makes no difference whether I try to get into the game from Battlelog or from the EA APP. All the above apply to both.

  • @fantasyfury I have had the same problem and unchecking "keep signed in" did work and i was able to get in to the EA app but i am not able to launch games. When i try to launch the games it just says "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device". if i press yes then it just repeat itself. And i get the same question again "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device". If i press no it says "Origin is not installed. You need origin to play the game: Install origin again". What do i do?
