@revelation_now Oh! I managed to get the app to work, and now I'm up to 5 minutes of it trying to launch Command & Conquer all while saying "you can double click the icon to quick launch the game", and I thought "well, thats what I did. In what universe does it take 5 minutes to launch a game thats over 20 years old on modern hardware? This isn't even fast for a Commodore 64". Anyway I'll continue to wait.....

@revelation_now Oh, so eventually it told me my cloud storage was full. Thats grand. I have two games in Origin / EA and they are over 20 years old and my storage is full. Grand. And now apparently I need administrative permissions to play some games.... that worked in DOS... to launch the game. WTF. What century is this?

Turns out I couldn't open the game because the EA app is constantly using over 100MB/s from my disk for being open.
I don't know where this company went wrong, but I suspect it started when you hired programmers.

Oh, because the game failed to open I got a message saying it failed to upload data to the cloud. Well, at least that worked right. And it probably would have failed anyway, because as it had already told me (and I'm not sure the App is smart enough to be aware of this) but my cloud storage was already full. It told me that at the start. Everyone here already knows this, because I wrote it in a previous post.
This is not a good experience.
