Know what got me around this? I simply had to sign on to my EA account via web, because it wanted me to verify my credentials, agree to updated terms, provide a confirmation code, etc.
EA app itself didn't bother to inform me of these critical needs despite a reboot and redownload / repair, I just happened to find out I had to do so once I successfully logged into the forum, here. So far, back to "normal", but what a stunted normality it is.

Uninstall the EA app with https://ninite.com/revo/ Revo uninstaller, do a basic registry scan and uninstall, and then delete all the registry keys it finds for the EA app. Then finish the uninstaller. Next download and run as administrator the EA installer. For me the EA app would not let me install, -choose repair. Maybe check your DNS settings use 208.67.222.222 and 8.8.8.8, check your DNS are not leaking with https://www.dnsleaktest.com/

the only reason I had ea app to bring with is because I was prompted to download it one time when opening my game. I had the white blank screen and NO fixes I read online helped.
My boyfriend the absolute hero took a look for me and what he did was leave ea app on my pc but also download origin from online, I ran was able to log into origin and run the game fine!!
