EA App refusing to stay open

I've been trying to open my sims game since yesterday. The app opens to the "Connecting to EA app" screen, a grey box that says "EA" at the top opens, and then it closes and doesn't open the game or ...

Hi @qimmig Thanks for letting us know what you're running into!

Can we try to clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) and check if this continues?

    I figured out the issue, which was that the EA app needed to be updated, but the app wouldn't update itself so I had to do it manually.

    Clearing the Cache, restarting, reinstalling did nothing either. I have the same issue, but mine is up too date. However, I can run the app on another User on my PC.

    Is there a fix yet?
