EA App says I dont have Access to Steam Game

Hi

I bought the Battlefield Bundle on steam last night because it was on sale. I installed BF4, and when I went to launch it - it downloaded and opened the EA App and said I do not have access although it is downloaded (See Screenshot). My EA and Steam accounts are already linked, as I use to pay for the monthly EA Play service, and used to play BF through that. I think that's why I'm having this issue. This is a new PC, so the Origin app has never been installed prior to this issue. I did install it briefly to see if I could launch it through that, but no success there. I really need help with this, I can't play the games I just bought ☹️ I unlinked my EA account from steam, and re-linked it, but that didn't work either. I would create and New EA account and try that, but there is a friggin long cool-down time when it comes to linking accounts.

  • i got the sims 4 but it doesn't say that it says 'The title may have been downloaded to your device by another user who owns the game. Log in to a different or restart the app to try again

@Rushtarian This is a common message players get for a few reasons. The best thing to do, although not the best is to uninstall Steam, the EA App, and the game.

If you have more than one drive in your PC, make sure all are installed to the same drive. If you have only one drive, reinstall them again all to their default path.

Basically your PC has something it shouldn't, like DLC or a game from another account, or the apps and the game are not installed properly and so the file path gives errors.
