EA app shows me prices from a different country

Made my first purchase through the EA app and I had a panic attack seeing it charged me 3 times more than what was advertised in the app. Turns out the app was showing me prices from a different close by country that uses the same currency name. After calming down I decided to keep what I bought without asking a refund but still... I hope this will be fixed as it's something that's really important. I talked about this with an agent through EA help, and they said the prices I see depends on my region settings. So I checked where my region is set to and it already says my region correctly. Yet it shows me prices from that other country. Now that I know about this I will be careful making any future purchases but for anyone else's sake I'm making a request to please use ISO 4217 Currency Codes so we know the app is talking about a different currency.
