EA app tells me to uninstall my steam-purchased game and DLC (half of my dlc)

Summarize your bug ea app tells me to uninstall the steam version but if i do that i will loose half of my expansion packs that i have bought through steam.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? tell me how to launch the game without losing my expansion packs
What happens when the bug occurs? i cannot launch the game. a window pops up telling me to uninstall the steam version of the game and wont allow me to launch until i have done so.
What do you expect to see? a solution where i can finally launch the game again and dont have to repurchase all my steam expansion packs
I was forced to download the EA app about a week ago and have not been able to play the sims ever since (exteremely sad). it says i have to uninstall my steam version of the game, but i know that whenever i don't launch with steam and only use origin, i lose all the expansion packs i bought through steam. when steam was released, i purchased and installed the base game and a few expansion packs on it. if i launch the game without having steam. i don't want to play the game without all the things i purchased because 1. it means all the money i spent is thrown away and unused and 2. none of my gameplay will function anymore since my saves heavily revolve around the expansions purchased through steam. i have purchased almost $200 worth of expansion packs through steam and i feel like its wrong to not be able to use something I've invested so much money into. this game is very important to me, i play it every day as its the only thing i have that allows me to escape from the stress i face daily. I've tried everything i can think of to get it to work, so i came here to beg for some help or at least some guidence. please I'm desperate lol

Is your Steam account currently linked up to your EA account? Please check the Connections page on your EA account to verify if your Steam is properly linked up.
Would you also attach a screenshot of that error you're seeing in the EA app to your post for me please?
