EA App uninstalled itself, can't install it again

Platform:PC

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know, this happened randomly, just woke up, turned on my pc and it already happened (last night when I turned it off everything was fine)
What happens when the bug occurs? when I try to install the EA App
What do you expect to see? a normal installation

EA App uninstalled itself out of nowhere today. the shortcut in my desktop had no icon and did nothing, I went into the EA App folder and tried to open the app but it just gave me an error with no code so I just deleted all those files and tried to do a new clean installation, redownloaded the EA App installer and now it says [Windows can't find the file "C:\Program Files\ElectronicArts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\Ea Launcher.exe". Make sure the name is written correctly and try again.] (see image) everytime I try to run the installer and I don't know what to do now, why would it ask me to have the EA launcher if I'm supposed to be installing it right now?, of course I won't have it

    Hi! I had this issue too, I had to uninstall absolutely everything. Go through everything and uninstall anything EA related. Then redownload. I hope this works for you! You may have to redownload any games you had.

    definitely back up your mods, along with your saves, tray(gallery items), screenshots and recorded videos. 🙂

    also remember to back up mod settings that aren't in the mod folder, some of them do that

    Just went on today, clicked to start sims 4, message states Origin needed to run game, I have EA app but no icon and will not open, EA app program is in my add remove programs, when tried to uninstall states cannot uninstall as program does not exist, was running ok yesterday

    I've had this issue occur twice over three days now which is most frustrating. I have to download the EA app again and it says launch or repair. I repair the app and it then works fine until the issue occurs again which used to be every three months or so but has been twice in three days as I mentioned. Come on EA, this is unacceptable.

    That works for me too 
    but eventually the problem will happen again 
    this is the 12th time I have to Repair it
    This EA app sucks

    Yeah EA App totally sucks!
    It uninstalled itself randomly last week. I haven't bothered with it, cause I'm not playing anything there atm. But I did play BFBC2 the week before it; uninstalled said game. Some day after that EA App decided to update itself.
    Many days later, when I click the icon for EA App to check if there's an update, windows 11 tells me it can't find the EA App .exe..
    It uninstalled itself.. AGAIN! facepalm.
