EA app uninstalled the sims 2 ???

When I loaded up my computer this morning I saw in the EA app that my sims 2 was uninstalled. I go to download it again and it gives me an error. I go and check in my documents files and computer files and see that the game is very much still there, but it cant be launched because the ea app thinks the game is uninstalled (???????).

Please dont give me any noob advices on what I should do I have literally done everything in the book to get the game up and running again but whatever I do I cant get it to work again. Please EA help me start a ticket on this I am in desperate need for help!!!!!

    Mine just reinstall someone said was a windows update issue so maybe install the update. Mines back on with all my saves hope everybody else has the same luck. 💜

    i was on it earlier and then i went off to do something else when back on then the app  thinks the game is not installed so i uninstalled it to see if it fix anything it didnt work

    Same here! i just tried to play and it was gone and cant install it again!

    And me as well I even uninstalled it i brought the sims 1 and 2 pack as well and 2 is the one not working my game goes oh something went wrong but I own the game and it's in my library so I'm stuck in a loop of it not installing i played it last night with no problem. Odd and worried.
