EA App will not launch

I get error code 104: Background Services Crashed every time I try to launch the EA App. Talking with EA "Advisors" has not brought any solution. I've updated my Mac and the EA App, I've reinstalled it, I've reinstalled in safe boot. Nothing. This wonderful, wonderful piece of software just won't work all of a sudden.

Any suggestions welcome.
