EA app will not open on brand new Mac

Brand new Macbook Pro 16 inch. I've installed and re-installed several times. The icon just bounces once and nothing happens. There's nothing in the activity monitor, I have over $1,000 worth of software with no way to play it.

Edit to add: Macbook M4 Pro Sequoia 15.1

    I had this same problem! Right/double click on the ea app and go to the package contents, and then open Contents > Applications > EALaunchHelper.app. That worked for me! 🙂
