EA App Won’t Launch At All

I went to open the EA App today to play sims but then nothing happened when I tried to launch the app. I kept trying to click the shortcut on my desktop, I tried opening the game by clicking on the sims shortcut. Nothing.

I’ve tried to follow several videos on how to fix it, nothing’s worked. When I tried to clear the cache by clicking on the App Recovery no popup came up. I’ve gone through the %localappdata% and deleted the Electronic Arts folder and restarted my laptop. I’ve changed the compatibility setting to Windows 7 instead of 8 and ticked the “Run this program as an administrator”. Nothing.

I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m devastated ☹️

    @enyopax I fixed it!

    I tried to uninstall the EA App but it wasn’t working and I was literally crying at this point 🥲 but then I decided to just try and download the installer application anyways from their website.

    When I clicked on the EAappInstaller program it came up that I already had the EA App installed, BUT there was an option to click “Repair” which I did and it seemingly fixed the app for me as after it finally launched (I just had to log in again) and I was able to play sims again!

    I'm having the same issue. Played the game last night, no issues. Launched it maybe 15 mins ago, no issues. And then suddenly I got an "app crashed" notification. I close the app, and relaunch, nothing but a screen flash. So I restarted my computer, now I don't even get a screen flash. I just bought a pack and I can't even play it.

    @enyopax it’s so frustrating! have you tried uninstalling the app and then reinstall it? I’m debating whether I should try that
