EA app wont download my new kits.

After I updated the game, I also bought the last few kits for the game. I've tried to download and install them but it's not working. Every time I click a kit to install nothing happens. An error message pops up saying I don't own it, but I do. I've checked my purchase history and my receipts, and they are all the paid. This is the only account and computer I use for The Sims. Can anyone help?

  • Also, just tried uninstalling the game and the new packs didn't show up on the add-on list like I never purchased them. Frustrating.

    Problem solved. Just reinstalled the game and my new kits are working properly. Still weird that they didn't show up on my add-on list.

  • Recently, I ran into such a problem that when installing the Sims, I happily ran to turn it on and wanted to play already. I signed up for EA, I think I'll play everything already. As soon as I log back in, it immediately gives out that the game allegedly "does not belong to me or needs to be changed to a user." I do not know what to do, there are no guides about this...I downloaded from steam from the official website. This is not a pirate, do you understand? I bought it legally and the site gives me such game. If there is anyone who knows what to do, I will be grateful if you do a lot.

    Went one a 3 month hiatus from playing the sims and when I returned to update the game and play, I got a message saying that I dont own the game (when I clearly do) and cannot download the game. I tried EVERYTHING. From clearing caches, to unistalling and reinstalling the AE app and nothing. I deleted the games from my mac folder hoping that helped and nothing. When trying to install it says " You do not have access and need to buy through the hub". I bought every sims game pretty much possible.. How is this happening? I reached out through AE and havent heard back yet, but curious to know if anyone else is running into the same issue.

    to note: the games and expansion packs are still in my library.
