EA app won't install games

I have recently switched from Origin to the EA app but can no longer download any games already in my library. When I press download it gets stuck on 'installing' (as shown below). I have tried to clear the cache and background, re-install the EA app, change the download location and even disable my firewall but nothing is working. My PC is updated and has enough space so I'm not sure what the issue is. I have opened a case; no. 204640091
