EA app won't launch after nog finishing the update.

Question

Hi,I have the problem that my EA app no ​​longer launches properly. This is probably because the WiFi failed while updating the EA app.&nbsp;I contacted EA via Chat and they did not understand the problem properly.What I get when opening the EA app: a screen with two EA logos (underneath each other) and the buttons don't work. When pressing ENTER after entering my email and password (because the buttons do not work) I get a white screen. See the attachment/photo.I also get the screen where it says: "the app failed to launch"&nbsp;What I have already tried: repair the EA launcher via the EA app installer, restart my laptop.&nbsp;My solution: I only have 1 game with EA and that is the Sims 4. I thought if I copy everything in: C:\Users\......\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to a external folder. And then uninstall the EA app and then reinstall it, which will then solve the problem (without my data in the Sims 4 being lost)...Is my thought correct? Or do I need to save something extra to prevent things from changing in my Sims 4.

Reinstalling the EA app should not affect your Sims 4 saves. However, if you would like to make a backup of your game saves, you can do so by following the instructions in this article:&nbsp;Backing up and resetting The Sims 4

To completely remove all EA app files from your system,&nbsp;you can try using&nbsp;CCleaner&nbsp;to clear out issues and errors.

The app failed to launchThe app couldn't connect to EA's servers. Check your internet connection, and try again. If the problem continues, reinstall the app.&nbsp;reinstalled and cleared cache, tried disabling firewall too. Cannot get this thing to open so I can play any of my games. Tried the UTF-8 fix online too. Nothing is fixing this dang thing.&nbsp;
