EA APP wont launch since windows updated

Relieved to see that it's seemingly not a me problem! Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app but my PC doesn't seem to want to let me uninstall it for some reason??

this user - https://answers.ea.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/40699340 - suggested downloading the EA Installer from the website (https://www.ea.com/en-gb/ea-app). When you try to open the installer it should come up with a message saying you already have the app, but there is an option to "Repair" the app. Seems to have worked for me!!

I just did the app repair and am at the same state, stuck in the 'Preparing game..' screen of Madden 24. This is a new gaming PC, fully updated everything, and I can play several other popular games without issue. Ive googled and tried everything under the sun to make this work.

I have tried everything I have the same issue, I even went to the extreme of wiping my hard drive and reintalling windows, that did the trick for a couple of days until something, which i can only assume it was some sort of system update, broke it again. I found a patch in github that enables Origin, which is great... you can download and play games with origin, but its not perfect, PVZ battle for neighborville does not work with origin. And honestly I am just baffled to see a company so big not ebing able to fix such a simple issue. I mean I have paid for these games and i cant even play them unless i do some sort of hack to go back to their old installer its ridiculous... EA FIX UR APP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
