EA App Won't Load Properly, or Even Work

Hello!

I saw a few posts about this happening on Mac, but the one I saw had no responses of help, but seeing other having issues I wanted to also post something just in case!

As I mentioned, I'm on Mac, and I was having some issues on a game I was playing (The Sims 4, where it was claiming I was not connected to the internet and I wanted to use the gallery) so I decided to quit the game and reopen through the app, and it said I was "back online" (never was offline), and to reopen the app to begin playing online. So, I did as it said to, and then the app began to rapid-fire ask for permission to have admin. Now, I myself don't have admin controls, nor know the password since the computer still technically belongs to my dad since it's his old work laptop. It's been about two hours since, and the app can open now, but has problems even showing up. I can get the page itself to show up, but nothing appears and it only shows up when I click on a top bar option. I got an error code originally as well saying EC:106, which I have no idea what it means.

Any help for a fix would be fantastic! I do wish to be able to play today haha!
