EA app wont stay open

I have been having trouble opening the EA app on windows.  It started working randomly for two days and then stopped. When i try to open the app it just shuts down, steam is linked to it for playing games.  I have uninstalled with Revo Uninstaller and deleted all leftover files. Then reinstalled by trying to play a game through steam. Thanks for any help.
