EA App/In-game Friend List not syncing to linked accounts!

Hey all,

I recently swapped to the EA app from Origin (in upgrading my PC). It's been several years since I really used Origin/EA on my PC but with the recent release of Wild Hearts. I bought it on Steam however if I open both the EA app & in-game friends list both don't sync to my linked account friends, i.e. Xbox & Steam friend list. the EA app says I'm linked to both but no friends show up, My connections in the EA.com profile page also say I'm fully linked with no error. Am I missing something or is my account borked somehow. I've tried clearing the app cache & several general troubleshooting methods (reinstalling, restarting the app, etc)

Any help is greatly appreciated
