EA Background Service using Discrete GPU

    it seems the issue has been resolved in version 12.197.0-5454

I also have such an anomaly. Notice this is not error. The window does not pop up with an error. This service did not use GPU Nvidia before. This was used by the Intel GPU, which is not intended for gaming tasks

I have something similar since the last EA update

only with System RAM not GPU as such. Launching EA I can watch as the EA Background Service is listed as using over 4GB of RAM (I have 32GB) but the RAM usage continues to climb until it is 100% and then the system locks

I have uninstalled EA and reinstalled then updated offline with the EA Updater and still occurs.

Have turned off Virus protection and install monitoring same thing.

EA Background Service appears to have a large memory leak so i am unable to update or play any game

    No update yet? I can't play any game using the EA App because of this issue.

    Anyone find a fix yet or is it hopeless?

        Started happening with latest EA Update, still ongoing
        No other issues
