Thank you for the detailed information, lets have a look to see if we can get you back into EA Desktop again.
The first thing that I would suggest is clearing the cache via the App Recovery. You can find this by clicking on the Windows logo on your keyboard. From there you scroll to EA, click on it and select App Recovery to clear the cache.
Then, for good measure, reboot the PC an try again.
Could you give it a go and let me know if it works?
I have followed this method for a long time, but it still can not solve my problem. The situation is the same as before. What should I do?

I just saw your message deep in my email filters....
I uninstalled the app through the apps and features menu in windows, then reinstalled it through redownloading the exe.
That's all I remember really.
I later hit another bug that forced me to redownload Apex, the only EA game I really play any more, and I used that moment to switch to Steam
