I've also had this problem from the time EA went out with the horrific annoucement that Origin will be permanently replaced by EA app. I tried everything possible. I even lost some of my saved games the first time I installed EA app, totally deleted. By some miracle, got some back. I'm teling you, freaking weird. Anyway, I tried lots of things and the only thing that's working for me is to shut down my antivirus for 10 minutes. I don't know why it's acting like this even if I have the EA app on my "allowed list". Really strange. But I'm really disappointed in EA because this "log in" issue is just one in a long list of problems that needs solving, like the issue of selecting the language in a game, or the app just crashing down.. etc.
