EA Desktop + Steam Launch

Which client functionality are you experiencing this bug with? Launch Game
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 10.03.22 9:43pm
Summarize your bug EA desktop does not intercept steam lanches.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Do not have Origin installed. Download Battlefield 2042 from Steam. Upon launch, Battlefield will attempt to install Origin. As a replacement, I cancelled the install and Windows reported unable to launch link2ea link.
What happens when the bug occurs? Failure to launch game.
What do you expect to see? Game to launch

    Hey @demortes,

    This is not a bug or a technical issue, but unfortunately the EA Desktop app doesn't support purchased EA Steam games yet. You indeed need to have Origin installed for that, to make purchased EA Steam games work.

    This is not a bug or a technical issue, but unfortunately the EA Desktop app doesn't support purchased EA Steam games yet. You indeed need to have Origin installed for that, to make purchased EA Steam games work.

    Then perhaps we can treat this as a feature request. I don't want both installed.

    So, as i can see this issue still going, just installed EAapp and i can't see my Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY edition that i bought on Steam in it, just the regular one that i bought before on Origin, i hope this won't give me issues to acces my game DLCs in the future
