EA Desktop and "api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll is missing"

Summarize your bug Can't install EA Desktop client. Installer just show pop-up error "api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll is missing". So, the client only for Win10, or this is bug and client could be installed on Win7 too?
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just try install client on Win7.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing. You can close error message and that's all.
What do you expect to see? Installation process of EA Desktop client.

Can't install EA Desktop client. Installer just show pop-up error "api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll is missing".
So, the client only for Win10, or this is bug and client could be installed on Win7 too?

    Ban people from playing their games, which run perfectly fine on Windows 7???

    Origin and EA Desktop should still support not just 7 but XP or at least have some legacy installer so people can download games they bought.

  • I wasn't asking for  your agreeance, I don't seek approval from those that are wrong.

  • So, almost two month have passed. I tried new version of installer - the problem is still here.

    Same problem. After running installer i got this message

    No logs in local folder, os w7 x64 home premium
