EA Desktop crashes

When running "It takes two" EA Desktop crashes, which is why I can't start a network game

Well even if you are below certain specs, you could play the game but we can't provide too much support.

If you were able to play half the game and the EA app is crashing, then that's a different matter.

The MsInfo states that the EA app crashes because of Unlocker64, I'm not certain what that is though. Do you have any programs running called Unlocker?

You can also perform a Clean Boot of Windows and only boot up the EA app and It Takes Two, make sure that you carefully follow the instructions and that you don't boot any other app.

    Hi @Ar1hurGRX,

Would it be possible to share a little more information about what happens? Do you get to see an error message and could you tell me when it crashes?

Does it crash when going to a specific mode or does it crash instantly when you start the game?

  • Occur in two moments: either when starting the game (after 5-10 seconds, after the application window appears) or when trying to log into a network game.

EA desktop does not issue any errors, only closes completely.

That's strange, we'll need to dig a little deeper to see what is causing these crashes @Ar1hurGRX.

I can give you some global troubleshooting steps, but in this case it might be better to share your MsInfo32.

We have a handy little article over on EA Help that explains how you can create your MsInfo32 and how to attach it to a case on EA Help:

    https://help.ea.com/nz/help/pc/how-to-find-and-attach-your-msinfo/

Could you please do that and let me know once it has been done?

  • Here is my msinfo file

I just had a look and it seems like your PC does not meet the minimum requirements to run It Takes Two:

That could explain why the game crashes instantly for you. You can also check this on Can You Run It.

  • This would be true if it weren't for a few but:
    1) My pc meets the minimum requirements
    2) I already started the game and went through half of the campaign with a friend (there were departures even then), but I can't finish because of this lottery "Will EA Desktop crash this time?"

    3) I'm not having a game crash, but a launcher application
