I am now having this problem, too. I used EA Desktop to install Sims 4 a few months ago with no issues, but now that I am trying to download a second game I am getting "Calculating Time" just as you say. I couldn't complete the steps to remove locally stored data because C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\ doesn't have "EA Desktop" for me it only has a folder called "EA Services." I DO see C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop listed separately but I don't know how I feel about deleting something that isn't exactly what they say to delete.
- 4 years ago@CharcoalSpore4 Okay I got brave/frustrated and deleted everything in the "EA Desktop folder" except "logs" and that fixed the problem. 🙂 Not sure why my folder was in a different spot but it worked!
