@groucholand It's a strange on alright.

If you have some spare time, then could you also share your Error Report ID?

@EA_Jason Hello I am having same problem.
And sometimes I cannot access anything on the desktop. It's annoying especially when you in game and minimize the game for a while to do something like volume setting and cannot go back into game because of this small window of EA app.
